Statement on copyright page: "Published, February, 1903, R". Very Good condition. Some rubbing to the boards, mostly on the rear board and spine. Bumps, small creases and scuffs at the head and tail of the spine. A little rubbing at the board corners. Darkening (sunning) along the spine. Some soiling along the top edge of the text block. Theres a small, partly erased pencil notation on the rear pastedown. Starting at the midway point of the text, there are numerous "unopened" page sets--the affected page sets are still connected along the top edges (most likely a printers error). The pages are otherwise clean, tightly bound and unmarked. Includes these works: Youth: A Narrative, Heart of Darkness and The End of the Tether. A nice square copy of the first edition.
